135 News to KnowCentury's Early Act Club Helps Feed HungryDonned in hairnets, gloves and aprons, students in Century Jr. High's Early Act Club worked with their partners from the Orland Park Rotary in creating food bags to be sent to people in need throughout the world, including those still recovering from the hurricane in New Orleans, and those recently displaced by the disaster in Myanmar... Centennial Walk a Success for JDRFCentennial School students and staff and members of the community participated in their annual walk to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on Thursday, May 15. Centennial welcomed a special guest, a former student whose struggle with diabetes inspired the walk. The total dollars raised will be announced next week! JJH Students Qualify for National Science BowlA team of five Jerling Jr. High students will compete in a national Science Bowl after qualifying in a two-part regional showdown.
