Welcome Parents!
A re-registration packet for students already enrolled in the district is sent to parents through the youngest enrolled child in the family. The packet contains information about all of the children who are enrolled in District 135, including:
- Letter from Dr. Colleen Schultz
- Fee Information Sheet
- Credit Card Information Sheet
- Family Information Sheet (Personal to each family)
- Student Information Sheet (Personal to each student)
As you await another first day of school, we understand some questions may arise that cannot wait until school starts. Below are some frequently asked questions and their answers for your convenience. If you do not find an answer to a question you may have, we welcome your phone call or e-mail.

What are the Open House dates for each school?
Dates for the 2008-09 open houses will be posted here as soon as they are scheduled.
When is the first day of school?
All students in Grades 1-8 will begin school on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
What school supplies will my child need?
The supplies vary somewhat for each school. A list of school supplies is posted on each school's webpage. Click on "schools" at the top of this page to visit the school's page of your choice.
How does bus transportation work?
Over 100 bus routes transport about 5,000 students to our District 135 schools. Using state transportation guidelines, children who live farther than 1.5 miles from school or children who live less than 1.5 miles from school but must walk in or near a hazardous area (as defined by the Illinois Department of Transportation) are eligible to ride a bus. Please direct bus questions to 708/364-3337.
Where can I get extra copies of the forms I received at registration?
If you need an extra form, please call 708/364-3338.
When are health forms due and where do I send them?
Completed forms with the physician's signature are due by June 1. Children who are without completed health records must by law be excluded from school. Completed health records should be returned to: Student Services, 15100 S. 94th Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462. Links to many of the forms can be found below in blue.
