Hello. My name is Judy Piech Forrester. I am the 7th grade math teacher on the Forrester Team. I have been teaching at Century School since it opened. Prior to Century, I taught at Centennial, High Point and Orland Junior High. In my years of experience in Orland School District, I've taught 6th, 7th & 8th grade math, 6th & 7th grade honors math, 6th & 7th grade social studies, and 5th grade math, language arts, and social studies.

Supplies -  The students will need the following supplies for math:
3-subject spiral, folder, pencils, red pen, calculator, ruler, art supplies (coloring supplies, glue stick, scissors, etc.), kleenex and paper towels.
Curriculum -  7th grade math will cover the following topics: Number Theory and Algebraic Reasoning, Integers and Operations, Proportions, Fractions, Decimals, Percents, Solving One and Two-Step Equations, Probability, and Geometry. The textbook we use is Holt Middle School Math Course 2.
7th grade honors will cover the following topics: Algebra, Solving Equations and Inequalities, Solving and Applying Proportions, Graphs and Functions and an Introduction to Slope. The texbook we use is Prentice Hall Mathematics Algebra 1.
