To help you this year, continue to study your math facts every day. Either make or buy flash cards for addition and subtraction. You need to know your additional and subtraction facts up to 20.
In reading the children should be reading a "just right" book for 15 minutes every night.
Parents please return the signed copies of all the special mail that you receive this week! Students please bring your supplies in as soon as you can...you can't do your best work without your "tools."
If you are interested in looking at a listing of Accelerated Reader books, click on the "Schools" tab on the top bar of this website. Choose "Liberty." On the right, click on "Media Center" and scroll down to the Accelerated Reader Program and select View the AR Reading List.
Reminder: District 135 families and community members are invited to sign up for e-news! E-News Members will receive monthly messages from the Superintendent, and occasional special announcements. At Liberty School we are hoping many of our families will sign up so that we can have our own additional database of e-mail addresses. When a newsletter is posted to the website, an event is scheduled, or there is exciting school news to share, we can help Liberty families stay informed!
