Amy McGarry

Welcome to Mrs. McGarry's Room 501

Welcome to Mrs. McGarry's classroom website. My teaching career began in 1995. I received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Illinois in Elementary Education and have also earned Masters degrees in both Curriculum and Administration from Chicago State University. Fifth Grade is a pivotal year for your child. My goal is that a creative and energetic approach to teaching in a positive atmosphere will help your child to thrive and instill a love for learning.
