Classroom Website!

Welcome! It is a privilege for me to have the opportunity to teach your child. Fifth grade is such an exciting year, and the children are enthusiastic about learning!

Student Success
Student success is directly related to effective communication between parents and teachers. Should you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact me. Click here to e-mail me. You can also reach me via phone and leave a voicemail at any time. My direct voicemail number is 226-8399. However, it is important for you to know that I may not get an opportunity to check my messages until the end of the school day. Therefore, please call the office at 364-3600 if your call requires immediate attention.

Homework
You can expect your child to have no more than 50 minutes of homework each night. Of course, this will vary from day to day. However, next to each assignment I have the children write down an approximate time of about how many minutes each particular assignment should take them to complete at home. I have found this to be quite helpful for everyone involved! :) If your child is taking more than an hour to complete assignments regularly, please contact me as soon as possible. I can imagine how frustrating that must be, and will work to solve the problem right away.
