At the beginning of first grade the students are introduced to the basic components of music and classroom procedures. We will explore beat, rhythm, pitch and form through movement, singing and the playing of classroom instruments.
Center School Second Grade Music
It's the beginning of another great year in music class! At the beginning of the year the students will review: the correct use of their singing voice; reading and performing beat and rhythm; and hearing the patterns in music.
Meadow Ridge Third Grade Music
I look forward to meeting new friends from Centennial School and welcoming back the students I know from Center School!
This year in music the students will continue to learn about rhythm, pitch, beat and form. I plan to begin the year with a lot of movement and singing to review the material the students learned in the first and second grades.
