My name is Julie Muchna and I am the full time nurse here at Orland Junior High. My hours are 8:15am to 3:15pm Monday thru Friday I am also available by phone or email.
My primary job is to support learning. I do not diagnose but I can refer for potential problems. If your child has any health concerns, new diagnosis or changes in health status please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss accommodations and form a plan with teachers and involved staff.

-Temperature over 100 degrees
-Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
-Frequent uncontrolled cough
-Undiagnosed rash
-Communicable disease

PHYSICAL AND DENTAL EXAMS
Physicals and Dental exams will be required of all incoming 6th graders. Please turn them in to the office as soon as possible. 6th graders without physicals will be excluded from school on October 15. Dental exams are due before May 15.
Sports Physicals will be required for all sports team participation at OJH. They expire 1 year from the date they were obtained.

MEDICATION
All medication (including over the counter, Tylenol or Advil) require a Doctor's order form on file here at school. Students are not allowed to carry any medication without a doctor's order and parent permission.
