** The first Words to Go test is always difficult for the students.  Please encourage your children to make flash cards when we don't do them together.  Once they see the format of the test, it helps them prepare for the tests that follow.  In order to say that they understand the vocabulary word, they need to be able to use it in a variety of ways. **
October book report contract will be home on Wednesday.  Please sign and return by Friday.
Please ask your child how he/she is doing with the article project.  I told them that I would take completed work early.
