WHEN A CHILD SHOULD STAY HOME FROM SCHOOL
1. Any temperature above 100.0 should stay home. The temperature must be normal for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of medications.
2. Any flu-like symptoms-uncontrolled cough, tired, chills, headache, or body aches.
3. Any diarrhea or vomitting especially if the child has been ill during the night. Please wait 24 hours after symptoms have resolved to return to school.
4. Any contiagous disease requires a doctor's note to return to school.
5. Any suspicious abdominal pains.
6. Any rash that has been undiagnosed by your doctor.
STOPPING THE SPREAD OF GERMS
1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue every time you cough or sneeze. Throw away used tissue in a wastebasket.
2. If you do not have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your sleeve.
3. After coughing or sneezing, always clean your hands with soap, water or hand sanitizer.
4. Stay home when you are sick.
5. Do not share eating utensils, drinking glasses, towels
or other personal items.
MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL
All medications(including anything that is over the counter such as Motrin, Tylenol,or cough drops) need a doctor's order form on file at the school. Student's are not allowed to carry any medications at school unless there is a signed doctor's order and parent permission on file in the health office.

UNDER REGISTRATION
All new kindergarten student are required to have a physical, updated immunizations, dental and eye exam.
All second grade students need to have a dental exam on file by May 15.
