  • Students implement their design and engineering skills to create objects for curriculuar content classes. After an introductory lesson, students are given free reign to create not only for class projects, but also for personal interests.


  • Coding drones is another way that students are able to demonstrate real-time critical thinking skills.  Students learn to code their drones to be able to fly around objects within the school.  The Tweet above demonstrates students' flying the drone that they coded through a part of our school library. 


  • Creating booktrailers using iMovie allows students to conceptualize their understanding of the book they have read, while implementing their creative design and engineering skills. The 6th grade language arts classes created booktrailers as a summative assessment for their Book Club projects.
