Updates

October is here and the crews are working hard to get the additions set for changing weather. Roofs are going on and floors are being poured at Liberty, Prairie and OJH this month.

High Point (our largest addition) is really starting to come along and boy, that gym is big! We can't wait for our students to use it! 

Finally, Centennial's masoners are working hard getting those walls up and ready for inside work to start next month!

All five schools have work being done at them! Prairie and Liberty have structures up and are working on internal projects within the new additions. 

Centennial's dirt pile is quite large thanks to the excavation that took place! All five sites are moving right along and are right on schedule. 

High Point & OJH Ariel Views:

August has been a busy month so far construction and it shows no sign of slowing down! Foundations are dug and walls are beginning to go up! You can view the progress by checking out the pictures below. 

Also in August, safety meetings were held with building administrators to implement safety protocols with the construction team. Our contractor, R.L. Sohol, has considerable experience with performing construction during school operations and will continue to take  necessary precautions for student safety.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held at Prairie School to kick off the five construction projects happening across the District. Board members, Prairie School administration and District administration were in attendance for the ceremony. Prairie school construction has already started happening with the other four schools slated to begin later in June. 

Construction at Prairie School has begun! Fencing has been put up and the equipment has arrived to level out the construction area. Pictures can be seen below of the progress being made. 

At the April 10th 2023 Board of Education meeting, a contract was awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, R.L. Sohol, to begin construction on school additions at Centennial, High Point, Liberty, Orland Jr. High and Prairie Schools.
