Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC)

BPAC Overview

Orland School District 135's Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) consists of parents, legal guardians, transitional bilingual education teachers, counselors, and community leaders. The majority of committee members are parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in the English Learner (EL) or Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) Program. 

BPAC committee meets four times per year and adheres to the requirements of Section 14C-10 of the School Code ([105 ILCS 5/14C-10]).
