Securly @ Home Web Filter
Our school uses Securly to help keep students safe on their school issued devices. Parents in all grades will receive a weekly email from Securly.com that will show you a preview of your child’s online activity. These will be sent to your automatically. You can also log into your parent account here or downlload the Securly Parent app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you have never logged into Securly parent, use the "Forgot Password" link using email account provided to the school district. Logging into your parent account will allow you to:
- Real time online activity feed (see visited websites, watched videos and keyword searches)
- Restrict access to particular websites (example www.youtube.com)
- "Pause" internet access on school iPad
- Online activity-based push notification

Using the tools within this parent app, parents can restrict student access to any website when off the school network. For parents concerned about Youtube, parents should restrict access to the sites listed below to fully block access to thier child's device to YouTube while off school network. PLEASE NOTE: This should only be used in extreme circumstances as this will also prevent students from accessing resources shared by teachers which students might need to complete homework assignments.
