Student Registration

Enrolling your child in District 135 requires families to:

1. Complete online registration process providing necessary student documentation. (See Below)

2. Complete Proof of Residency process providing necessary residency documentation.

Student Documents Needed for Registration

  • Birth certificate

  • Last report card/Illinois transfer form (transfer students only)

  • Most recent 504/IEP (if applicable)

  • Custodial agreements, decrees, judgements (if applicable)

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens on February 17, 2026. 

Re-registration for currently enrolled students opens in May. 

New to the district 1st-8th grade student registration opens in June.

  • Students that register after the start of winter break will get only their registration fees pro-rated by 50%.  This does not include the, Gym Suits or Heart Rate Straps.
  • Speech Only students are not eligible for pro-rated fees.
  • Students that qualify for reduced, only have to pay half of their registration fee, their first gym suit, their first heart rate strap and their first recorder.  Any additional gym uniform, heart rate straps, or recorder will be charged at full price.
  • The registration fee rate will be locked in at the time online student re-registration is completed by parent/guardian. On June 1 and/or August 2 unpaid fees will be adjusted to the current fee amount.
