Welcome to Park School Media Center!
Library Media Specialists
Mrs. Noelle Price (Wednesdays and Fridays)
Welcome! This is my fifth year at Park School as the library media specialist. Some of you may know me as Ms. Swanson before I was married. My husband is a new teacher in the district. So, we love learning in our house! I am in my eighth year as a school librarian. I have also worked as a children's and youth services librarian in public libraries. I earned my B.S. in history-social sciences education from Illinois State University and my Masters in Library and Information Sciences from Dominican University. I enjoy cooking and traveling. This past summer my husband and I spent 18 days traveling in Italy! I will be the library media specialist at Park School on Wednesdays and Fridays. However, please feel free to contact me any day with questions or concerns. I encourage you to explore the library media center web page and follow me on Twitter. You can contact me at email@example.com or 708-364-3900
Mrs. Kristy Gilbert (Thursdays)
Hello Park families! This is my 12th year as a library media specialist in our district. I have spent the majority of this time at High Point School, but worked with the self-contained enrichment program at Meadow Ridge the last two years, as well. This will be my first year working with Park School and I am very excited! I started my library career back in 2003 working as a part-time youth services library assistant while I was in college, and fell in love with it. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2008. Before teaching in Orland Park, I worked as a Youth Services Librarian in a public library for 3 years. Please feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need anything! I look forward to my Thursdays at Park School!

I am thrilled to be starting my third year at Park School! This is my 19th year in OSD 135. I was previously at Centennial Elementary School as the media associate and a lunchroom supervisor. I am very excited to be at Park School and am thankful to be part of the Panther family! I am looking forward to another awesome year!
