Orland School District 135 Full Day Kindergarten Center
This past fall Orland School District 135 began researching the development and options of implementing a full day kindergarten center for the fall of 2016.
Upon compiling data on the benefits of an all-day program and providing options to the Board of Education at the October 20, 2014 meeting, the Board asked Administration to move ahead with a community survey and additional logistics of a center in an existing building for the kindergarten program.
A survey was put out to the Orland community and parents November 13 to solicit feedback on interest on the program. A summary of the survey was presented to the Board of Education on December 12 that showed 86% of the those who responded to the survey favored a full day kindergarten program.

the community survey can be downloaded here.
