Band and Orchestra

The grades listed refer to the student’s grade for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.  Camp participants must be registered students at a District 135 school. Payment is due at the time of registration. Orland School District 135 has a No Refund policy for their camps.

Registration closes on July 24, 2025. 

For current/incoming band and orchestra students ONLY.  It is strongly recommended that all band/orchestra students attend the summer program.  The summer session provides an essential foundation that will be built upon during the course of the new school year.

  • $60 (includes t-shirt ) - Does not include instrument rental
  • T-shirts are not guaranteed on registrations received after May 30, 2025.
  • Location: Jerling Jr. High - 8851 West 151st St.
  • Monday, July 28 - Thursday, August 7

Camp Schedules

Band  

Jr. High Band 

  • All 6th– 8th graders (1 - 2 pm)

Grade 5 Band                                                           

  • Percussion (8 – 8:40 am)                 

  • Flutes (8:40 – 9:20 am)

  • Trumpets (9:20 – 10 am)

  • Trombones/Baritones (10 – 10:40 am)

  • Clarinets (10:40 – 11:20 am)

  • Saxes (11:20 am – 12 pm) 

 

Orchestra  

Grade 4                                          

  •  Cello & String Bass (8:30 – 9:15 am)           

  •  Viola (9:15 – 10 am)

  • Violin A* (10 – 10:45 am) & Violin B* (10:45 – 11:30 am)

    • *Violin - Students will be notified which session by the last day of school 

Grade 5   

  • All instruments:  (11:30 am - 12:15 pm)                                        

Jr. High Orchestra 

  • All  (12:45 - 1:45 pm)
