• Beginning on Monday, July 5, 2021, our Orland School District 135 Website will include a link to a Summer e-Learning page.  The Summer e-Learning page will include lessons and activities for mathematics and language arts at every grade level, Kindergarten through grade Eight.  The purpose of the Summer e-Learning page is to provide students and families with optional lessons and activities that will help students practice skills and concepts from the grade level they completed in 2020-2021.  This is strictly optional and not mandatory for our students. The skills and concepts will be connected to grade level standards and curriculum, and may also include fun themes and connections for our students.  Live instruction and live feedback will not be provided by teachers, however, references for correct answers and recorded lessons will be included.  Since there will be no live teaching or feedback, activities do not have due dates and do not have to be submitted.  All activities and lessons posted on the Summer e-Learning page are optional for you and your student, and can be selected and completed based on your choice and convenience.  Families may complete them individually and they are all optional.  It should be noted that Summer e-Learning is not Summer School.  Families in our Summer School or ESY programs have been individually contacted by the District Office.
If you experience difficulty accessing the material, you may contact the helpdesk.
Once you have clicked the link taking you to the lessons/activities page, please select the grade level that your child completed at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.  For example, if your child completed 3rd grade at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, select 3rd grade.  If your child completed and graduated 8th grade, you may select 8th grade to practice and refine skills leading into high school.
