Liberty Student Earns Recognition for Created Character
Ellery Dyra, a fifth-grader at Liberty school was tasked with creating a character. She was asked to describe where this character lives, what they enjoy, their personality traits, and what made them unique.
Ellery created a character using her own name, Ellery, who is a thirteen-year-old girl who grew up in Topeka, Kansas and has magical powers. Watch the video below to hear more about Ellery, the magical thirteen-year-old girl that ended up earning the real-life Ellery an honorable mention in the Storyworks "Create a Character Contest".
