The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released our annual School Report Card. The Report Card shows how well our schools are progressing on a wide range of educational goals. We are extremely proud of each of our schools, our staff, and the progress our students have made in all areas of growth.
One component of the School Report Card is the summative designation – a descriptor of how well the school is meeting the needs of all students. This designation is based on eight indicators of academic success and school quality. District 135 is happy to announce that three of our schools have received ‘Exemplary’ status, and seven of our schools have received ‘Commendable’ status. Schools receiving the “Exemplary” status demonstrated performance in the top 10% of the state.
