District 135 Celebrates National Youth Art Month 2016

Youth Art Month exists to emphasize the value of Art Education and recognize its necessity for divergent and critical thinking for all children.

In honor of National Youth Art Month, the Art Educators of District 135 are hosting a Visual Arts Show. Selected pieces of artwork showcases the many talents of students in grades 1 through 8. Art Educator, Susan Berry commented, “District 135 Art Teachers are proud to display artwork at the Orland Park Public Library that best reflects the curriculum and for the community to enjoy.”
