Proof of Residency Extended Hours

Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, Orland School District 135 will require every student’s family to provide proof of residency each year.  Requiring proof of residency each year will allow the District to maintain an accurate account of enrolled students. This procedure will also bolster the District’s efforts to be fiscally responsible by ensuring that students who attend our schools are legally entitled to do so.  It is in the best interest of all taxpayers in the District that we require proof of residency each year.

Parents may provide residency documents to the registration department at the Administration Center at any time during normal business hours.  The registration department is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

There will be several after-hours time slots to provide proof of residency for those who cannot attend during normal business hours.  Those dates are as follows:

  • Saturday, March 18th, 8am - 12pm
  • Wednesday, April 12th, 4pm - 7pm
  • Saturday, May 6th 8am - 12pm

Proof of residency on the dates above will only be accepted at your child’s school.  The registration department at the Administration Center will NOT be open during the aforementioned time slots.

You only need to prove residency once for your entire family - just be sure to provide the name and school for all other children in the District at time of proof.

Proof of residency may not be faxed or emailed - it must be completed in person.

Proof of residency within Orland School District 135 boundaries must be proven with documents  from both Category A and Category B (as described on our website:   The parent's name and address must appear on the most recent documents from Category B.
